Wedding Transportation in NYC
Plan wedding-day travel around your ceremony, reception and the people who need to be there. NYC Premier Car offers wedding transportation in NYC as part of its event services. Share your itinerary so the vehicle, pickup arrangements and full quote can be confirmed before you book.
Plan the journeys around your ceremony
A wedding itinerary can involve a hotel departure, ceremony, photographs, reception and a final ride home. Start with the places and times that are fixed, then identify who needs a ride on each leg. Include the couple, wedding party and guests separately so different pickup locations and departure times are clear.
Share the venue entrance or loading instructions supplied by your coordinator, not just the venue name. For Manhattan hotels, Brooklyn venues and other NYC locations, confirm the precise meeting point and an on-the-day contact. Ask the team to review travel and loading time between stops; avoid planning the ceremony arrival around an assumed drive time. For celebrations that include a Nassau or Suffolk venue, use our Long Island car service guide and share all guest pickup and return addresses.
Choose transfers or an hourly itinerary
For a single journey between a hotel and venue, review a point-to-point transfer. If the same party needs several stops, photographs or a vehicle retained between events, discuss an hourly chauffeur itinerary. Confirm whether the vehicle will wait or leave between legs, and how changes to the finish time are handled.
Treat the reception departure as its own planning decision. Include a proposed pickup time, the passenger group and the final destination. If guests will leave at different times, provide those details before requesting a quote. Extra journeys, standby time and multiple vehicles need confirmation; they are not automatically included with an outward transfer.
Match the vehicle to your wedding party
Our fleet guide covers sedan, SUV and Sprinter options. Describe the passengers and everything traveling with them: luggage, garment bags, flowers and other bulky items. Ask for the seating configuration and usable space of the vehicle offered before reserving. A vehicle photograph does not confirm a particular layout or available model.
For group travel, review our Sprinter van service. If an exact SUV model matters to the couple, include that requirement when discussing Escalade car service. Mention child seats, mobility needs or assistance requirements early and ask what can be accommodated. Decorations and any items placed inside the vehicle should also be agreed in advance.
Arrange airport travel separately
Out-of-town guests may need an airport transfer before the wedding day. Provide their flight number, travel date, hotel address, passenger total and luggage details. Guests arriving on different flights may need different pickup plans. Read our JFK pickup guide, LaGuardia transfer guide or Newark transfer guide for the arrival airport, then confirm the arrangements for the actual flight and terminal.
What to include in your wedding transport request
Send the wedding date, each pickup and destination address, required arrival times, passenger counts for every leg and a luggage or equipment list. Add the venue contact, access instructions, requested vehicle type and the reception return plan. Tell us which timing details are fixed and which are still being finalized.
Before booking, review the vehicle offered and the full itinerary alongside the price. Confirm minimum hours, waiting, overtime, additional stops, parking, tolls and gratuity as applicable. Ask what is included and what may be charged separately. Check cancellation, payment and itinerary-change arrangements in your quote and our terms and conditions. No standard wedding package or fixed fee is assumed here.
Wedding transportation questions
Can the wedding party travel together?
Share the full passenger count and belongings with the team. The suitable vehicle or combination of vehicles depends on availability and the actual seating and luggage configuration. Confirm that arrangement before reserving.
Can we add a stop for photographs?
Include the photo location and expected time in your original request. Ask whether the quote allows the stop and any waiting involved. Later changes should be reviewed before travel rather than assumed to be included.
When should we request a quote?
Request availability once your date and main venues are known. Share any provisional details clearly, then confirm the final itinerary with the team. Availability for a particular vehicle or date is established through the booking process, not guaranteed by this page.
